PLESS

PLESS are an electronic duo from Bern, Switzerland. After playing stringed instruments in the metal band Unhold, Philipp Thöni and Leo Matković turned to synths, buttons, keys and knobs. Their music moves effortlessly between moody, cinematic atmospheres and impulsive, beat-driven dancefloor electronics, exploring analog textures to forge a timeless sound. Since their well-received debut album Hypernormal (Everest Records, 2022), the duo have been busy: they released the digital-only Technidolor — a hybrid of mood and dance, dark and light — followed by Midnight Buffet, which condenses eerie loops, larger-than-life melodies and melancholy introspection into a distinctive sonic identity.
