Jet Turino

Jesús “Jet” Turino is a self-taught musician, composer, and connector based in Lucerne. With bass, effects, and loop gear he forges a distinctive rhythmic sound machine that bridges free improvisation and driving groove. Since the early 1980s he has played 500+ concerts across Spain, Germany, and Switzerland and contributed to numerous studio projects. In 1999 he founded the colectivo, a Lucerne network of cross-disciplinary artists that has sparked projects in music, culture, theater, and sociocultural work. Alongside his ongoing project The Fabulous Dance Machine, he composes, arranges, and produces music for albums, websites, film, and theater, and collaborates widely with changing ensembles.
