OUT TOO is an installation, a concert, and an exhibition in one. Conceived by the outer string, optickle, and stettlerbros.67, it surveys a wildly romantic landscape of rocky outcrops, forest and stream in the Krauchthal region—seen through a semi-automatic eye. Origami-like images unfold into the room, embedded in a sculpted sound world that reveals this particular slice of nature. On-site field recordings interlace with the warm timbres of real and synthesised trumpets and cellos. Pushing the contemporary notion of “experience before experience,” OUT TOO translates a real place into a hyper-real event within a virtual-design reality. The real thing: 46°59’31.8"N 7°32’41.5"E
