The Bernese duo Schrödingers Katze brings Erwin Schrödinger’s famous thought experiment to life through sound. Simon Althaus’s thrumming Moog bass and shimmering Rhodes textures fuse with Manuel Pasquinelli’s masterful drumming to create an experience that is at once uncertain and deeply rewarding. Both musicians work from fragments and motifs, with improvisation playing a central role — whether and when an idea surfaces is decided in the moment.
