HYPER DUO – founded by pianist Gilles Grimaitre and drummer Julien Mégroz – is a Swiss group fully devoted to experimental, contemporary creativity who aim to transcend stylistic limits and broaden horizons.
Lying between sophistication and inappropriateness, the serious-yet-playful universe of the two musicians is heavily shaped by intensive collaboration with exceptional composers and artists. Following straight roads and winding tangents, HYPER DUO explores with exuberant energy the area between avant garde compositions, rock energy and absurd poetry.
