Various Artists - Heimlich Maneuver - The Remixes

Heimlich Maneuver – the remixes assembles a host of renowned electronic artists to remix their favourite tracks from Everest’s Heimlich Maneuver album. This 12“ vinyl includes four remixes in addition to a previously unreleased track by Everest themselves.

A1 Faulhorn – remixed by Menu:Exit
A powerful beat drives melancholic bass and moving synth lines on this downtempo track produced by Berlin based musicians and Underscan Records label operatives; Markward Wagner and Ralf Pytlik.

A2 Mellow Death – remixed by Andrew Coleman
The opening impression of this track transforms itself in to a dark drone that flows pleasantly until its finale. Take your time and enjoy the exhilaration of this remix by Andrew Coleman. Coleman’s work can also be found on labels such as Ninja Tune, Thrill Jockey and Tripel Records.

B1 Ro3 – The Gorptsop Remix – remixed by Battery Operated
Battery Operated has been working together since 2000, when they met in Melbourne, Australia. Tomkz (sound), Wade Walker (sound), and Beewoo (video) manage their label called c0c0s0l1dc1t1. Their remix opens with melodic synth and guitar rhythms, powerfully peaking when the live drums set in. A sunny track for wintry days.

B2 Gerzen – Fracture Remix – remixed by Uniform
A beautifully wired noise track by Uniform a.k.a. 2nd Gen. The masters of fragmented sound and abstract beats create a nervous and thrilling track, chock full of delicate and fragile niceties.

B3 Dum – by Everest
A new IDM track with a flat driven beat and rattling synths by Everest themselves.
